Racial segregation was the rule throughout all of the southern and in areas of the northern United States until the 1960s. People claim that we are separate but equal, but that wasn't what it seem like. Many who violated these laws were abused from beatings, bombings, and ynchings.

My Experience
My experience as a Freedom Rider was very tough, but i mange to get through just like the others Freedom Riders. We been abused, many were killed, and we got things thrown at us. But through these hard times we didn't give up. We Freedom Riders are strong and will keep trying to stop the Jim Crow Laws, even if we have to risk our lives. We also travel to many places around the state in order to spead the Freedom Riders, its hard to sit one the bus for so long with very little to eat. My experience of being a Freedom Rider was nothing to what i had expect it to be, but instead it was harder thean i thought.
Pictures From My Experience
Holding our signs, showing people what we're against.
Us sitting on the bus
The bus getting bombs and things thrown at it, catching on fire.
After the bus was done catching on fire, this is what it looked like.
Heroes of the Freedom Rides
We the Freedom Riders are all heros. We may or may not have an impact at all in the world, but trying is what matters right now.
